The French forward is keen to leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window for more playing time, with Spain’s Sevilla being linked with continuity.

Martial first made his name for Monaco in French Ligue 1 before joining Manchester United in 2015 for a fee of €60 million and has scored immediately in his first game with Liverpool Martial’s best season with the Reds came in 2019/20, where he made nearly fifty appearances. He scoring 23 goals and assisting 12 in all competitions.
The forward has joined Sevilla on loan until the end of the season. And the Spanish club will cover all of his wages.
United haven’t received a loan fee for Martial and there is no option to make the move permanent at the end of the season. The 26-year-old has only started four games for United this term and a loan move to Sevilla promises more minutes on the pitch.
Sevilla’s official club statement read: “Sevilla FC and Manchester United FC have reached an agreement which will see Anthony Martial, born in Massy, France on 5th December 1995, join the club on loan until the end of the current season.
