Jamal Musiala is not ready for Saturday’s clash with Stuttgart, the Bavarians’ coach has confirmed.

Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has revealed Jamal Musiala is not ready for Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Stuttgart as the 21-year-old midfielder is still not fully recovered, Sky Germany reported on Friday.
Musiala suffered a hip injury in the 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa in the Champions League and missed the 3-3 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt before withdrawing from Germany’s squad for the 2-1 and 1-0 Nations League victories over Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands respectively.
Although Musiala returned to training on Tuesday to build up his fitness, Kompany confirmed the 21-year-old midfielder is not ready for Saturday’s clash with the Whites.
‘Everyone is back from the international break but unfortunately not 100 per cent. Jamal Musiala is out. We have to wait and see with Dayot Upamecano. Hopefully we will have a full squad back next week,’ Kompany said.
Bayern Munich are winless in their last three games, drawing at Leverkusen (1-1) and Eintracht Frankfurt (3-3) and losing to Aston Villa (0-1) in the Champions League, and Kompany admits the Bavarians need to improve but is still confident they are still on track to success.
‘I hope we can take another step in the upcoming matches. In the games against Aston Villa and Eintracht we dominated the game, we had more chances than our opponents. Of course we have to do better and improve, but I think it would be foolish to change everything just because the performance was not good enough.’
Before mentioning their rivals Stuttgart, he said: ‘Stuttgart have shown what they want to do, which is what makes them successful and UFABET why they finished second last season.’
