Man Utd announces mourning ceremony for ‘Kate’

Manchester United have confirmed that the club will pay tribute to much-loved former receptionist Kate Phipps at the club’s Premier League match. This weekend after she died aged 85.

Kate had worked for United since 1968, initially working as a call centre worker. Before moving into a receptionist role at the club’s training ground.
